Your Traveling Wedding Photographer

Hey hey, I’m
LaDonna! 👋🏾

Elder millennial. Sentimental soul. Quiet observer.

I’m the person who notices the little things: the way your partner looks at you when you’re not watching, the squeeze of a hand, the glances most people miss. My heart lights up for connection, my soul soars for the quiet, and I find magic in everyday beauty hiding in plain sight.

Living in full color
because the best photos come from
the moments no one thought to pose

Why Traveling Wedding Photography

The story that
changed everything

Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I spent 13 years in the mental health field, serving children and families. That work taught me the power of presence, empathy and seeing people fully.

In 2022, I lost my best friend, Shannon. Her life, her legacy and the dreams we shared changed the way I see everything, including this business. Photography became a way to honor her, to preserve what matters most, and to help others feel seen in their own stories. True main character energy.

Life as a Traveling Wedding Photographer on Oahu

A weekend
in my world

Photographer capturing a couple during a beach engagement session, with a scenic ocean backdrop at Lanikai Beach, Hawaii.

Sunrise chaser

Up hours before dawn and driving an hour to the east side to watch the sun come up over Lanikai or Kailua. Then a pastry and a coffee drink from Traditions.

Praise team

Straight from the beach to church for rehearsal.

Reluctant hiker

Convincing Demetrius to try something we can’t do anywhere else. Yes, sometimes that’s a hike. Yes, we both know I hate hiking. And yes, I’m always grateful once I’m standing at the top, beholding the view.

Restaurant hunter

Finding a new spot with food we can’t get anywhere else.

Cozy-core nights

Rewatching The Big Bang Theory, swaddled in faux fur blankets, my brightest knee-high socks, glasses slightly askew, bonnet firmly in place. Phone on Do Not Disturb.

In my garden

Deep conversations with my roses, who hear all about my day whether they like it or not. I’m fully embracing my soft-girl flower era… 👀 or my Eccentric neighbor lady era… depends on who you ask. 😇

People told us the island would get boring after six months. A year in, I’m still in awe around every corner.

Behind the camera

Where you'll
find me on your day

Barefoot in the sand, usually crouched low or a few steps back, patiently watching for the moment you forget I’m there. I’ll give you just enough direction to feel at ease, then let the two of you simply be you.

The laughter, the nerves, the glance you didn’t know anyone caught. That’s what I’m here for.

Why we'd get along

If we were friends
in real life

We’d skip the small talk and get straight to the real stuff over boba. You’d tell me about all the people you love, and I’d soak up every detail, because I’m always here for a story!

If you’re a wee bit sentimental, love to laugh, and want wedding photos that remind you how sacred and dear your road to Happily Ever After truly was, we’re going to get along great. Your photos and films aren’t a performance. They’re a reminder to your future self of why you said yes.
