For years, I’ve helped couples document the most meaningful experiences of their lives, and Grand Gestures was created for grooms who are intentional, emotionally grounded, and ready to make this moment count. Behind the scenes, Demetrius quietly weighs in, making sure the experience hits just as deeply for you as it does for her.

It comes down to scale and how much you want handled. The Surprise covers the moment itself: planning guidance, a hidden-photographer setup and photographs. The Emerald, Diamond and Signature add more time, a designed setup, and luxury touches like film, chef-prepared dinners or live music.
Because you’re not just hiring a photographer. Booked separately on Oahu, a proposal photographer, a videographer and a decorated setup can easily exceed $1,700, and you would still be the one planning and coordinating all of it. Here, one team handles everything.
Ideally two weeks or more before your date. Some of Oahu’s most sought-after locations, including botanical gardens, require permits at least a month in advance. A Surprise or Emerald proposal can occasionally come together sooner, but more lead time always means a more thoughtful result.
Not at all. You bring the feeling you want her to have. The concept, the design and every detail of the execution are built around it, and you’re guided through each decision along the way.
Absolutely. Up to seven guests can attend or help pull off the surprise, and the experience is shaped around your vision and comfort level.
That’s planned for. The photography stays discreet and low-key, so the moment feels like yours, not a production. If you want the question itself captured but prefer to keep the lead-up or the celebration private, that’s easily arranged.
Yes. While home base is Oahu, Grand Gestures have been planned and photographed from Raleigh to upstate New York, and travel is included.
Only with your permission. Surprise proposal galleries are never shared without your express consent. Your moment, your call.
