You want photos that you love, from an experience you both cherish, that also look and feel like you on your best day. Not a stiffer, more polished — pretend version. We provide gentle direction when it’s needed, and plenty of space to laugh.

One of you hates taking pictures. Plenty of couples arrive with one partner who is certain the camera isn’t for them. When the focus stays on each other, that worry has a way of fading away fast.

You miss having time for just the two of you. Wedding planning has a way of crowding out the reasons you said yes. This is an evening set aside for exactly that.

Is an engagement session included in our wedding collection?

Yes. Every LT² wedding collection includes a Signature Engagement Session. If you’d like to book an engagement session on its own, check availability and LaDonna will be in touch.

Where should we have our session?

Anywhere on Oahu that feels like the two of you: a favorite beach, a ridge with a view, a garden, or the neighborhood where your story started. You’ll know the location ahead of time, and we’re always happy to suggest spots based on the light and the mood you’re after.

How long is an engagement session?

Most sessions last about 90 minutes to two hours. If there’s a pose(s) you’ve saved that you’d love to recreate, we’ll make time — your session may be a wee longer for it, but that doesn’t bother us.

What happens if it rains?

Oahu’s weather moves quickly, and a short wait is often all it takes for a shower to pass. Light drizzle can make for beautiful photos. If heavy rain is in the forecast, we’ll make the call to reschedule.

When will we see our photos?

A sneak peek arrives within a few days of your session, and your full gallery follows a few weeks later.

Any tips for hair and makeup?

Schedule your session on the same day as your hair and makeup trial. You’ll see how everything holds up from a few hours of wearing, and how it looks on camera. This also helps to make sure your skin agrees with the products well before the wedding morning, and even gives you an idea of whether your artist can finish when promised. And of course as a bonus, you’ll arrive ready for photos.

We're not comfortable in front of a camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most couples we photograph say the same thing before their session. Direction is gentle and conversational, and the focus stays on you two, not the camera.
